Dr. Sharon (Sherry) Kramer

I am Dr. Sherry Kramer and I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience providing psychotherapy services. I have always been interested in growth and development as it occurs throughout the whole life span, and so, I have worked with people at various stages of life and with people as they face change and transition in their lives. I have worked with children and their families, adolescents, adults and couples, and the elderly.
As part of my interfaith spiritual ministry, I have worked with people who find themselves facing illness, people who are dying, including families who have lost a child to death. In working with others, I am able to address a wide range of concerns that include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, stress, and issues of sexual identity. I have had experience working with the GLTB population. I am skilled at helping men and women overcome their blocks to intimacy and creativity and overcoming their fears.
My approach is holistic, with attention to mind, body, and spirit, in the context of a safe, warm, honest and supportive relationship. My approach to growth and healing is individualized based upon the needs presented, drawing from a number of therapeutic traditions. I focus on the strengths of the individual, and often incorporate mindfulness practices to increase focus in the present moment, acceptance and resilience, and to enhance life fulfillment.
